Important Announcement!

Dear parents, guardians and students,

 

In the light of the statement made by the Minister of Education Mr. Amzazi in the parliament today 12^th May, 2020. We would like to inform you that:

 

1. The academic year 2019-2020 won’t be declared as a lost year.
2. The students will go back to school on September 2020.
3. We will continue to offer online teaching to support our students’ learning until the end of June 2020.
4. Promotion to the next class will be based on continuous assessments for all sections apart from Baccalaureate students.
5. First year Baccalaureate students will sit their exams on September 2020.
6. Second year Baccalaureate students will sit their final exams on July 2020.

 

KGS, in letter and in spirit of the Ministry guidelines, implements all the efforts to face this daunting challenge.

Each one of our students will complete their curricula and learning processes in the best conditions.

Our pedagogical teams are so dedicated with abnegation and creativity from the beginning of the confinement.

We are placing our hopes on our students, parents, guardians to double the efforts for the remaining weeks so as to succeed in this academic year in spite of the extraordinary circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic.

:إلى السادة آباء وأولياء التلاميذ

:صرح السيد أمزازي وزير التربية الوطنية في مجلس النواب يومه الثلاثاء 12ماي 2020 بما يلي

 

أن السنة الدراسية 2019|2020 لن تعتبر سنة بيضاء –

عودة التلاميذ إلى المؤسسة سيكون في شهر شتنبر 2020 –

استمرار الدراسة عن بعد إلى غاية شهر يونيو .3 –

الاستناد في الانتقال من فصل إلى آخر يرجع إلى المراقبات المستمرة لجميع المستويات باستثناء الأولى باكالوريا والثانية باكالوريا –

سيجرى الإمتحان الجهوي للسنة الأولى باكالوريا في شهر شتنبر2020 –

سيجرى الإمتحان الوطني للسنة الثانية باكالوريا في شهر يوليوز2020 –

 

مؤسسة جبران خليل جبران بروح ونص تعليمات الوزارة، ستبذل كل جهد ممكن لمواجهة هذه التحديات

سيكمل كل واحد من تلامذتنا المنهج الدراسي وكذلك دراساتهم الاكاديمية في أفضل الظروف الممكنة

لقد اخذت فرقنا التعليمية الأمر بجدية، وايثار وابداع منذ بدء الحجر الصحي

ندعو باخلاص كل تلامذتنا، وأولياء أمورهم إلى مضاعفة جهودهم في الأسابيع المتبقية من أجل النجاح في هذا العام الدراسي على الرغم من الظروف الخاصة بسبب كوفيد-19

Suite à l’intervention de Monsieur le ministre Amzazi au parlement, le 12 courant, nous tenons à vous informer  que:

 

1. l’année scolaire 2019/2020 ne sera pas considérée année blanche.
2. le retour des élèves à l’école aura lieu en septembre 2020.
3. les cours et classes à distance seront poursuivis jusqu’à fin juin.
4. le passage de classe se fera sur la base des contrôles continus pour l’ensemble des classes excepté les terminales.
5. les élèves de la première année baccalauréat subiront leurs examens en septembre 2020.
6. les élèves de la deuxième année baccalauréat subiront leurs examens finaux en juillet 2020.

 

KGS, dans l’esprit et la lettre des directives du ministère, met en œuvre tous les efforts pour relever ces défis.

Chacune et chacun de nos élèves achèveront le curriculum et leurs cursus académiques dans les meilleures conditions possibles.

Nos équipes pédagogiques s’y sont attelées avec sérieux, abnégation et créativité depuis le début du confinement.

Nous appelons de tous nos vœux, nos élèves, leurs parents/tuteurs, de redoubler d’efforts pour les semaines restantes afin de réussir cette année scolaire malgré les conditions spéciales dues au Covid-19.
